FRANCESCA MARIA BIANCHETTI ARCHITECT
Bye! I am a freelance architect.I currently work with private clients in the design of interior and exterior spaces. I also collaborate with theStudio M[ark] Associates,based in Milan.
In love with architecture since birth, in 2018 I graduated with honors from the Politecnico di Milano. My thesis concerned a project on the redevelopment of the Milan markets, with particular attention to the Gorla markets and the Monza market. To research and reflect on the design concept, I spent a period in Barcelona (Spain), where I was able to investigate the spatial-social organization of the market and how the surrounding city develops around it.
During my last academic year I did an internship in Belgrade (Serbia), during which time I was involved in the design of the city's waterfront, a public intervention at different scales.
Since November 2016, after completing the Bachelor's Degree at the Milan Polytechnic, I have collaborated with various studios, including Studio Difino Associati and Studio Ansbacher Manzoni. In 2017 I also had the opportunity to collaborate withWoodie Milan, an interior design start-up born in 2015, which combines wireless charging technology, Italian design and a wide choice of materials.
During my last academic year, I participated in a workshop with some students from Düsseldorf (Germany) for a re-evaluation of the Mascheroni barracks, one of the abandoned areas in the process of being re-evaluated in Milan.
