ZETA HOUSE

CityLife - Milan, 2021

In collaboration with MTDe Felice

This Milanese apartment is located in the heart of the city in a building built in the 1930s by architects Asnago and Vender. The spaces have been completely restructured and adapted to the needs of the new property, despite the decision to maintain the existing structure of the houseMinimal and modern lines have been combined with classic furnishing accessories, in un perfect combination of styles. The light coming from the numerous windows reflects on the iroko parquet, which has been laminated and lightened so as to make the house even brighter. Inside, custom cabinetry and floor-to-ceiling closets make the most of the spacesBeing a large family, it was decided to separate the kitchen from the living room, but at the same time we wanted to maintain a dialogue between the two spaces: two cuts of light made in the partition thus create an introspection without affecting the different nature of the environments .

For the bathroom of the young boys, a mud-colored stoneware covering was used, which covers the floor and continues in the shower for a walk-in effect. For the master bathroom, on the other hand, softer colors were used, with the use of light gray stoneware alongside the warm wood of the parquet. In the master suite, the walk-in closet acts as a filter space between the bathroom and the bedroom.
